Due Diligence Statement

Mentor Distribution works with a wide range of reseller, integrator, and channel partners across the IT and AV markets. As part of our commitment to responsible and transparent business practices, we maintain a comprehensive set of internal policies and procedures covering the areas typically addressed within supplier due diligence questionnaires, including but not limited to:

Many of these policies are publicly available on the Mentor Distribution website and are reviewed periodically to ensure alignment with applicable UK legislation and recognised industry best practices.


Due Diligence Questionnaire Engagement Policy

While we recognise the importance of supplier due diligence and governance, the completion of customer-specific, multi-page due diligence questionnaires (including detailed spreadsheet-based supplier review documents) represents a significant administrative and personnel cost.

To ensure a proportionate and commercially fair approach, Mentor Distribution applies the following policy:

  • Standard policy statements and declarations, such as this document, are available on our website and physical copies can be provided upon request for a fee.

  • Bespoke or detailed due diligence questionnaires will only be completed where there is a sustained and appropriate level of commercial engagement that justifies the resources required.


Minimum Commercial Threshold (Effective 2026)

From 1 January 2026, Mentor Distribution will engage in the completion of customer-specific due diligence questionnaires only where the annual business turnover with that customer exceeds £75,000 or €90,000 per annum.

This threshold reflects the internal time and personnel required to accurately complete, review, approve, and maintain detailed compliance documentation.

For customers trading below this threshold, Mentor Distribution will instead provide:

  • This formal Due Diligence Policy Statement

  • Confirmation of compliance with applicable UK laws and regulations

  • Access to relevant public policy documents available on our website
